Additionally, the film opens with a prologue depicting the childhood of Tiana (based on the famous real-world New Orleans chef Leah Chase: 1923-2019). A different copy of the "The Times-Picayune" newspaper can be seen with a headline reading "WILSON ELECTED!!!!". It is certainly referring to the election of Woodrow Wilson to United States of America President in November of 1912 AD.
