Additionally, there is a 1914 AD epilogue identified by the "The Blackwater Ledger and Sentinel" newspaper front page (the final publication available to purchase in the game) dated for "MCMXIV" i.e. 1914. The paper also includes an article under the headline "WAR HAS BEEN DECLARED ACROSS EUROPE" in which it's written "Britain is fighting the Ottomans." The United Kingdom declared war on the Ottoman Empire in the real world as part of the escalation of World War I on November 5th, 1914 AD. The article continues on that the leaders of Europe "are promising that the war will be over by Christmas" so it must still be November or early December of 1914 AD.
