When Does "Highlander: The Raven" (1998) Take Place?

"Highlander: The Raven" is a fantasy television series showran by David Abramowitz that premiered September 21st, 1998. So when is "The Raven" set?

It takes place in the year:

1998 AD

We know this because the story takes place after "Highlander" season six (1997), which takes pace in YEAR AD. So it must be after YEAR AD.

More specifically, the first scene of episode 6 "Birthright" includes a huge banner in a museum advertising a (presumably) upcoming event that reads: "Preview on Wednesday,  August 5, 1998." Furthermore, an early scene of the same episode shows a newspaper front-page in a dispenser dated for "THURSDAY, JULY 30 1998". The inside page of a different newspaper ("Daily Journal") is seen in the very next scene dated exactly the same way. So it is July of 1998 AD at this point in the season.

The hallmark of the Highlander series is major flashbacks to historical periods:

-Episode 2 "Full Disclosure"  1952 AD  .

-Episode 3 "Bloodlines"  1897 AD  .

-Episode 6 "Birthright" shows us the moments before departure of   and during the very first scene a massive banner is clearly visible reading, "". Furthermore, a time and place setting title card appears at the start of the scene reading: "The Bahamas, 1720". So this flashback is set in 1720 AD

-Episode 8 "The Unknown Soldier"  1917 AD  .

-Episode 10 "Passion Play"  1963 AD  .

-Episode 12 "A Matter of Time"  1907 AD  .

-Episode 15 "Inferno"  850 AD  and  1792 AD  .

-Episode 16 "The Frame"  1908 AD  .

-Episode 17 "Love and Death"  1867 AD  .

-Episode 18 "Thick As Thieves"  1554 AD  .

-Episode 19 "The Manipulator"  1565 AD  .

-Episode 20 "The Ex-Files"  1643 AD  .

-Episode 21 "War and Peace"  1776 AD  .

-Episode 22 "Dead on Arrival"  1610 AD  .
