When Does "Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees" (2023) Take Place?

"Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees" is a historical fiction horror comic-book written by Patrick Horvath that premiered October 18th, 2023. So when is "Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees" set?

It takes place in the year:

1986 AD

We know this because during the funeral scene near the end of issue three a grave maker is clearly visible with "FRANKLIN WARNER  JUNE 25, 1940 - FEB. 2, 1982" engraved on it. So it must be after February of 1982 AD.

More specifically, in the sixth issue a "Woodbrook Wanderer" newspaper front-page dated for "MONDAY OCTOBER 9, 1986" is seen in close-up at a newsstand as two characters discuss its headline relevant to the story. So it is almost certainly October of 1986 AD by this point.

Specifically, in issue number one the latter half of a banner across a street in town can be just partially read "EPT 30th  ENTENNIAL DAYS". Conclusively, a calendar with "SEPTEMBER" at its top is in the background at Samantha "Sam" Strong's hardware store. Clearly, the story starts in late September of 1986 AD. Then, Sheriff Patterson says, "So, ah... it's been a crazy couple of weeks..." at the end of issue six, strongly implying the entire narrative has taken place over less than two months. So the plot definitively only spans late September of 1986 AD to early October of 1986 AD.
