When Does "Space Above and Beyond" (1995) Take Place?

"Space Above and Beyond" (released to Danish-speaking audiences as "Rummet år 2063"/"Space, year 2063") is a science fiction television series showran by Glen Morgan with James Wong that premiered September 24th, 1995. So when is "Space Above and Beyond" set?

It takes place in the year:

2063 AD - 2064 AD

We know this because .

Later, in the twelfth episode "Who Monitors the Birds?" (1996) a character holds a document reading ..."st day of January, 2064. This certificate is awarded"... So it is now during or after January of 2064 AD.

Also, during episode twenty-three "...Tell Our Moms We Done Our Best" (1996), the final episode, Secretary General Diane Hayden says, "18 months and 4 days ago the fierce winter storm of war seemed as distant in our history as the last snowfall to a child retreating in the shade from the heat of the summer sun until together, we trembled in the chill as Secretary General Chartwell sat at this desk and placed the Vesta/Tellus colony massacres amongst days that will live in infamy." 18 months after any date will unquestionably put us into the next calendar year.

2,063 + 18 months = 6.2,064.

Furthermore, the show's opening narration includes the phrase: "We thought we were alone. We believed the universe was ours. Until one night in 2063, on an Earth colony 16 light-years away, they struck. Now we're at war."

Additionally, there is a flashback in "Who Monitors the Birds?" in which a projector displays the words "Today is  January 1, 2058." and "Happy New Year". So presumably it is currently January of 2058 AD
