Soon after a huge sign can be seen that declares "SOURCE OF THE BLEEDING TOUR 2024". As the entire story takes place over one day it is all in 2024 AD.
The premise of narrative is loosely based on the real-world sting Operation Flagship that occurred on December 15th, 1985 AD. HOWEVER the presence of smartphones and the role of digital social media in the story means this date is extremely unlikely.
