When Does "Harbinger" #8 (1992) Take Place?
"Harbinger" #8 v1 "Unity" Chapter 8 "Heart Failures" is a superhero comic-book written by Jim Shooter with David Lapham that released May 12th, 1992. So when is "Harbinger" #8 set?
It takes place on the fictional Valiant Universe timeline in the year:
We know this because as the main characters make a wild journey there is a time and place setting title telling us we are in "The Lost Land, somewhere beyond time, space and known reality, Unity day 1." In a different comic-book, the X-O Manowar armor's onboard computer describes as "outside of normal time" and Doctor Solar refers to it as "a pocket continuum" in yet another comic-book. As such, it is not only an alternate universe but is atemporal and doesn't exist on any timeline.

We know this because as the main characters make a wild journey there is a time and place setting title telling us we are in "The Lost Land, somewhere beyond time, space and known reality, Unity day 1." As such, it is not only an alternate universe but is atemporal and doesn't exist on any timeline.
Additionally, the book has a quick prologue that includes a different time and place setting textbox reading "Norcross, Georgia, April 4, 1992, 6:00 P.M." So presumably it is April of 1992 AD.
It is an early chronological comic-book in the Valiant Universe (a chronologically tenth comic to feature the Harbinger characters) and can be read at its timeline point.
