"The Methos Chronicles" is a fantasy animated series written by Joshua Davis that released July? 14th?, 2001. So when is "The Methos Chronicles" set?

The hallmark of the Highlander series is major flashbacks to historical periods: 

-Episode two "Old Wounds" features what appears to be a (potentially alternate universe version of) Methos' awakening as an immortal. In ?, he says "I am 5,000 years old, and I don't know who I am anymore." and in the short film "Highlander: The Reunion" (2008), he says, "You'd think after 5,000 years I would know better." That would put this around the year 3000 BC. Furthermore, the second shot of episode three "Captured" includes a time setting subtitle that reads: "2900 BCE" and it takes place only months or, at most, years after episode two. So presumably the audiences had been brought to 2900 BC.
