When Does "Northlanders" #9-#10 "Lindisfarne" (2008) Take Place?

"Northlanders" #9 "Lindisfarne" Part One and "Northlanders" #10 "Lindisfarne" Part Two are historical fiction comic-books written by Brian Wood that premiered August 27th, 2008. So when is "Lindisfarne" set?

They take place in the year:

793 AD

We know this because it depicts the tragic real-world Viking raid of Lindisfarne's monastery, which happened on June 8th, 793 AD.

Halfway through #10, there is another texbox that tells us it is "Two days later." so presumably it is now June 10th, 793 AD.

Furthermore, both issues begin with a time and place setting textbox reading: "Northern England  A.D. 793".

Additionally, there is an epilogue at the end of the tenth issue labeled only with another textbox that says, "Years later." Since a young character from the main action is still alive all we can be sure of is that it is within his natural lifespan, sometime before 870 AD. It is otherwise unplaceable
