Furthermore, both issues begin with a time and place setting textbox reading: "Northern England A.D. 793".
Additionally, there is an epilogue at the end of the tenth issue labeled only with another textbox that says, "Years later." Since a young character from the main action is still alive all we can be sure of is that it is within his natural lifespan, sometime before 870 AD. It is otherwise unplaceable.
